Pająki (pronounced “pah-YONK-ee”) are traditional Polish folk mobiles made from straw, paper, and natural materials. These intricate chandeliers have been part of Polish culture for centuries, symbolizing hope, abundance, and harmony. Historically, they were crafted in communal settings, bringing people together to celebrate creativity and connection.
The process of making a Pająki is both meditative and meaningful, blending hands-on crafting with mindfulness. In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore their creativity, set intentions, and engage with a rich cultural tradition—all while creating a unique, handmade piece of folk art.
