This workshop will give parents psychoeducation about anxiety and how it develops in childhood as well as strategies for preventing anxious behaviors, cultivating new skills to help children face their fears successfully, and a script for reacting to child anxiety. The course is taught by Helena Vaughan, Ph.D., licensed psychologist. She is the owner of Child Behavior Management Pittsburgh, and specializes in working with children and their families 2-12 years old. She specializes in using parent training to treat ADHD and anxiety disorders.
